In a past season I wrote a handful of these ABC entries and I moved them over to My Whirlwind Life. So if the story itself seems dated in some way… that’s because I wrote it a few years ago.
Best
Adjective 1. of the highest quality, excellence, or standing 2. most advantageous, suitable, or desirable
Intentions
Noun 1. an act or instance of determining mentally upon some action or result. 2. the end or object intended; purpose. Highest quality purpose, suitable end object, most advantageous end.
It is my heart’s desire to always approach everything with best intentions and to always assume best intentions of others.
Satan so often tempts us to view things in a negative light – to let our minds wonder and think that someone has purposely set out to be mean or nasty or inconsiderate or hurtful. That leads to a downward spiral ultimately ruining relationships. Satan wants to cause this division and I don’t want to leave room for that in my life.
Lord help me to always assume the best intentions of others and I pray you show me to not have ill intentions. Lord please intervene and have others assume the best intentions of the things I do and say.
